James has been in private practice for over 40 years, 20 of those in Emsworth. He specialises in freehold and leasehold law, both residential and commercial.
This includes conveyancing, business formations, sales and purchases, landlord and tenant problems, and land law—with a special interest in town and country planning.

Christopher Halliwell, partner
A solicitor since 1977, Chris’s speciality is wills, probate and trust administration. This extends to inheritance tax planning and advice to the elderly.
He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Alex has specialised in probate administrations and wills since 1989. She qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1996, and was admitted as a solicitor in 1998.
